'Straight On' (First Release) by Logan Jackson

'Straight-On' is an art object that contains 12 prints telling the story of a boy stuck in the middle of nowhere, longing for someone that doesn't exist, having visions of a life unknown.

Every box is lined by hand (my hand!) with a different hand-marbled (not my hand!) paper. Printed on archival satin baryta paper, each 6" x 8" signed print is an edition of 60, individually packaged and wrapped. The print stack is snugly folded in matching paper and secured with a sticker from the back of a calendar my mother started keeping for me when I turned two.

The goal was to create an object similar in shape and in idea to a photo book, but I've always wanted to make something that could be enjoyed in more ways than one. Sit the box on your coffee table, hang the prints, give some out to friends as little tokens of appreciation; it's up to you sweeties.

The first release of boxes consists of only 24, and while each box is unique physically, the prints will remain the same for each release until all 60 have run out.
